Yoga for Women’s Health - a Magical Day in Suldal/ Yoga for Kvinnehelse i Suldal - takknemlig og inspirert
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we held a full yoga and women’s health event in Suldal. Participants grounded in body, breath, and presence, sharing experiences and receiving practical health tips. Energy continued over a lovely lunch, followed by Annette Løno’s lecture on the vagus nerve - the body’s hidden superpower. Grateful for this inspiring day and the chance to connect with so many amazing women!

Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga - What’s the Difference/ Rolig yoga, restorative yoga og yin yoga - hva er egentlig forskjellen?
Gentle Yoga integrates elements from Patanjali Yoga (rooted in Iyengar Yoga), restorative yoga and yin yoga. Patanjali-based practice builds muscular support and joint stability through precise alignment. Restorative yoga calms the nervous system through supported rest. Yin yoga targets connective tissue and joint mobility. Together, they create balance between strength and softness, effort and release.

We live in a society that is evolving at an enormous pace / Derfor er rolig yoga noe av det viktigste du kan gjøre for kroppen din
In a world that moves faster than ever, Restorative Yoga offers the balance your body and mind truly need. Through conscious movement, breath, and supported stillness, you nourish your muscles, joints, fascia, and nervous system. It’s not about doing less - it’s about restoring what modern life takes away, so you can feel stronger, calmer, and more at home in your body.

The Hips - The Body’s Hidden Drawers? / Hofter, følelser og kroppens lagringsplass
Hips are a crossroads of movement, breath, and nervous system regulation. Chronic stress can tighten psoas and pelvic muscles, affecting posture, back, and emotional well-being. Gentle hip openers, mindful stretching, and breath work help release tension, restore mobility, and create a sense of safety - letting the body “let go” layer by layer.
