A peaceful stay at Gryting Apartment, Kinsarvik Camping

If you’re looking for a place where you can truly slow down and just be, Gryting Apartment at Kinsarvik Camping is one of those places that gives you exactly that.

From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of ease. The beds were already made, towels neatly placed, and everything felt quietly welcoming. No rush, no stress - just step inside and land.

The apartment is modern, but in a soft and grounded way. Natural light flows through large windows, and everywhere you turn, you’re reminded of the landscape outside. One of my favorite spots quickly became the daybed by the window. Sitting there with a coffee, looking out at the mountains, felt like time slowed down just enough.

There’s plenty of space to be together without feeling crowded.

Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, made it comfortable and simple for everyone. The double beds are equipped with high-quality Jensen mattresses, offering excellent comfort and support for a truly restful night’s sleep.

The kitchen became a natural gathering point. Slow breakfasts, easy lunches, and dinners after a day outdoors - it had everything we needed. Well equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, and dishwasher, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy a comfortable stay. In the evenings, the living room invited us to soften into stillness, with good conversations and a calm atmosphere.

Stepping outside adds another layer to the experience. The balcony, with its table and chairs facing the mountains, is perfect for a quiet morning or or reading a book while listening to the birds singing, felt like time slowed down just enough. In the entrance, you also have a litle garden, and more space - an outdoor dining area and large, comfortable chairs where you can sit back, breathe, and just take it all in.

What stays with me the most is the feeling. The combination of comfort, nature, and stillness creates something more than just a place to stay. It’s a place to reconnect - with your surroundings, your breath, and yourself.

Gryting Apartment isn’t just somewhere you visit. It’s somewhere you arrive - and gently don’t want to leave.
